Work Experience
Jimmy is a marriage and family therapist with JH Family Solutions. He provides individual, couples and family therapy with an expertise in working with adolescent males. He is currently pursuing certification in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and uses the attachment based approach with individuals & families.
Previously, he worked as a supervisor and wilderness guide at Red Top Meadows serving adolescent males, where his journey of helping young men and families experience a supportive and compassionate environment allowed Jimmy to learn first hand about healthy relationships.
Jimmy’s passion is improving the quality of life in the communities in which we live. Providing a therapeutic environment for members of our community enhances the overall mental health of the place we call home and is a part of Jimmy’s comprehensive plan approach to therapy.
He is driven by a deep desire to support people, and he believes in promoting a safe, respectful, and accepting environment to promote change. His focus is on continued training in Emotionally Focused Therapy.

On a Personal Note
Jimmy grew up and spent most of his childhood in Akron, Ohio. After graduating from the University of Cincinnati, he came to Teton County to pursue a career in community planning.
Exposure to Jackson’s unique outdoor opportunities eventually led him to his passion for outdoor education and therapy. Working in a therapeutic wilderness program, he has guided backpacking, climbing, backcountry skiing, kayaking, and mountain biking and loves all of these activities.
He is an avid pupil of the mountains and spends most of his time exploring the outdoors by any means possible. When he is not outside, he spends quality time with people he loves and his dog Banjo.
