Cranberry-Orange Nut Bread

Grandma’s Cranberry-Orange Nut Bread

Dry Ingredients:  (combine)

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup coarsely cut walnuts
  • 1 cup coarsely cut cranberries

 

Wet Ingredients:  (combine)

  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 3/4 cup orange juice
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil

 

MIX IT! 

Add wet ingredients to dry – stir until just moistened.

Bake 350 degrees for 45-55 minutes.

Serve warm (or toasted) with cream cheese
